"I've had a few people say I need a shop, and when I ask them what they want engraving they send me this crazy full colour photo. A laser has 2 main settings, on or off! So its black and white – some files we can adjust the power of the laser head and the speed at which it moves across the material to give shading or deeper/ lighter burns. But this is only practical on some items."
I’ll never give a definite time frame – I’m crafting something and I never want to hold myself to a pinch point that would ever cause stress to influence me in getting a product out the door quick so I sacrifice the quality. I normally get the items out in under half the time of what I have in my head. I’ve only ever had one order take longer than planned and that was a supplier issue. And the customer was so happy because every step of the way I provided updates and regularly showed proof I was emailing to chase up the issue. I hold myself accountable to the standards I’d expect as a customer.
